TAKE ON YOUR TFF 08/09 RIVALS IN THE TFF CUP!
Go for glory in the TFF Cup, The Telegraph's exciting knockout competition! This game runs alongside the normal TFF 08/09 competition and gives you the chance to recreate the romance of the FA Cup by going on a cup run and upsetting the favourites along the way!
Every team in the TFF 08/09 game will be entered into the TFF Cup, so existing teams are automatically entered - you do not need to do anything. You will score points in both the TFF 08/09 game and the TFF Cup.
- When the Cup starts you'll be drawn against a fellow TFF 08/09 manager in a knockout match - just like the real deal!
- In each head-to-head match, the team with the most points during the specified time period for the round will be the winner. They will progress to the next round, while the loser will be eliminated
- Each week of the Cup the number of teams will be whittled down until the final two slug it out to see who takes the ultimate bragging rights by winning the TFF Cup.
NOTE: If teams both score the same amount in a TFF Cup tie the following tie-breaks come into play:
The team with the most goals will go through
If this is level then the team with the most assists will go through
If this is still level then the teams with the most clean sheets will go through
In the unlikely event that there is still no definitive result, the winner will be the team that registered first!
